...I scoot out to supervise a day-long shoot.
Today, I am wearing the most expensive shirt (merely 1400, I know, but it still is the most expensive shirt in my wardrobe) I ever bought. It's a blue color plus with a subtle shine. I wore it on my engagement. I hardly ever wear shirts now y'know. Only tees. And short kurtas. My job allows for a casual demeanour, thank the lord. This blue baby (not baby blue, as in Arnold Layne) got torn when I met with an accident. I had almost forsaken this shirt, but a good friend of mine offered to get it mended and she did. It has a patch somewhere but I can't find it, so I presume noone else would either.
Today, I am driving with 'fool' scrawled over my car. I think I parked it wrongly blocking someone else's car in the Hauz Khas market. I'm guessing it was written by a sweet girl who took the trouble of purchasing a temporary marker from a nearby shop only to convey the message. Now if it were a guy, the expression wouldn't have been so harmless. It would have been a nasty scratch instead. So I thank you (girl,) whoever you are. For not being overtly mean even when you could have been so, but not letting it go either. I believe it would be great to leave the world in the hands of women like you.
Today, I was listening to a band called 'Collective Soul' on my way to office. Way too over-produced and clean for my taste. But if you think MLTR is way too sweet and GNR is a little too raw, if you are looking for a middle path to tread upon, Collective Soul with their brand of Guitar Rock and not-too-dumb lyrics are just what you may like.
So far, so good. But it's only 9:40 am. C'ya at the end of the day.

For what its worth, it could be a sweet girl trying to get you to acknowledge her existence. ;-) Fool almost seems like a compliment.
That blue shirt... seems to inspire hapless individuals to shower their aggression on your vahan. Drive with care!
I think I am going to thoroughly enjoy reading this blog on a daily basis as well.
Have a wonderful day!

Aw.. scribbles on your new car!
and on a totally different note... inward smile at Randi's username. I wonder if he/she knows the punjabi implication? ;)
No, she doesn't.. why? Oh, lord.. I'm afraid. *giggle, chuckle*
Well well, waddya know. I write a totally n' shamelessly self-indulgent post, and it ends up getting the maximum number of comments on my blog. I just as well give up on the logic of it all. But thanx folks!
Anon: I hope it is. And ya, I would take care while driving. Thanx!
Randi: I hope you do enjoy my future posts as much, :-), and don't be afraid, 'Randi' does have a rather nasty meaning if pronounced in a certain way. I'd make sure I pronounce it differently though.
Arun: Thanx dude! I intend to.
Elf: Welcome to ma blog. BTW, do you happen to know a certain Lady Galadriel? And yup, great bands those.
eM: Hey Blog Goddess! You!! Here!!! I am honoured. You do know I read your blog daily, right?
And All of You's: Do keep coming back. (song in the background: C'mon, let meeeeeeee entertain you.)
