I've been in the maternity ward of the hospital almost continuously since 24th afternoon. I'm extremely occupied, and as Paul Simon says, 'I'm tired, and drowsy and ready to sleep, (BUT) life I love you, all is groovy'. And understandably so, with a 36 hour old son and a wife who has been on her back all this while, unable to turn or ingest solid food yet. Not that I am complaining. Any price is a good price for the treasure we've found.
Now this is one of the two hour breaks I take when I come home to change, during which I also check my mail and blog. When I logged in this morning, I had no intention of putting up a post. But hey, waddya know!
Apparently, I've been tagged.
I saw two instances of chain blogging today. And one of them includes me. So here I go:
Total number of films I own on DVD/video: Only a few, not enough to mention! But I know which ones would they be when I begin. Comic-book inspired movies: X-Men-1&2, Daredevil, Hellboy, The Mask, Batman-1. Animations: Finding Nemo, Shrek-1&2, The Incredibles. Some Billy Crystal's: Mr. Saturday Night, Forget Paris, When Harry Met Sally. Maybe some Kevin Kline's: French Kiss, A Fish Called Wanda. Some Steve Martin's: L.A. Story, Out of Towners, Bowfinger. And then, some random ones I have so liked: American Beauty, Only The Lonely, She's So Lovely, Phenomenon, Fight Club. Well, okay, that's all I can think of. Right now.
The last film I bought:
Citizen Kane, and Catch-22. I couldn't go through either, despite the former Orson Welles' creation being described as 'the-best-film-ever' and the latter being based on one of my favourite books. Pity!
The last film I watched:
Theatre: XXX-2. I didn't hate it too much, probably because I expected to be bored to death and was forced to watch it. Laptop: The Polar Express. Liked it.
Five films that I watch a lot or that mean a lot to me:
American Beauty, Anand, The Doors, Phenomenon and Jerry Maguire.
Okay, taking it forward, I tag: Words Worth, Cocaine Jesus, Sumantra, Bhavv and Anurag. Responde sil' vous plait.
