It’s a hot humid day. I’m sweating like a tropical forest. Suddenly, the sky is overcast with clouds in great black blotches, and it starts raining. Now rains, all of them, are blood-sisters. Each rain can remind you of all the other rains you’ve met in your life. Like the one when I was 6 and they declared it a rainy day at school. How I loved the rain then. Or the one when I was 13 and the pretty girl down the street passed through, all soaked.
And I love this one.
