I was only 12 when I fell in love with her. Such was the power of her performance in Anuradha. Even in a Black and White film, (the much revered) Leela Naidu could express every shade of gray through her portrayal of this very real, timeless woman. And her beauty was ethereal, her grace- divine. No wonder I was smitten. And now she's gone. May she rest in peace.
