Sadness is fascinating.

Sadness is the subtle shadow that trails every moment, especially the one of joy. It is in joy's nature to fade, to rust, to disintegrate, to go putrid, or to evaporate, leaving behind nothing but a faint oil stain upon the memory. Whereas sorrow? It is the very canvas upon which life is painted, or the blackboard on which one scrolls the chalk faces and the little ditties of love. And when time wipes them away with a rag, there it is- the unrepentant gleam of sadness. Timeless.
