It is true, you know, that everything is comprised of sound. That the universe came about with a Bang, or an Om, depending on which faith you subscribe to. Or perhaps it was sung into being by a somnolent Kiwi God. That all this, all of this, was pent up for a no-time in the testicles of a no-thing in a no-place, until it ejaculated into be-ness.

Consider this! Behavioral psychologists, social researchers and senior school teachers will confirm that it is almost impossible to change the deeper psychological motives of a person. Intellectually, it is impossible. Mathematically, too many variables. And yet, music can change minds, right down to their deepest motives. The right kind of sound can gently loosen your petrified belief system, the bedrock of your being, and mold it into something else, like soft putty.

So if that much is true, perhaps this is true as well. That one can make the right kind of sound- the right pitch and frequency and shrillness or baritone in the right sequence, and come to unravel it all back to not-ness. To mute.
